50 Years
Of Flavor.
Not just a restaurant chain.
A Koraput tradition since 1974.
It Started
With Tea.
Sunabeda, 1974. A small shutter opens. The smell of charcoal and fresh milk. That was the moment Bidhan was born.
We didn't set out to build a legacy. We just wanted to serve a good cup of tea and fresh tiffin to the HAL township. But good food has a way of bringing people back. First came the regulars, then their children, and now their grandchildren.
Fig 1.0 // The Legacy Base
Half A
Century.
A Humble Beginning
Bidhan opens its doors in Sunabeda with a small counter selling tea and simple sweets to HAL employees.
The Legend of Chhena Poda
After years of trial, our signature roasted cheese cake recipe was perfected, becoming an instant Koraput favorite.
The HAL Partnership
Bidhan becomes an unofficial staple of the Sunabeda township, serving hundreds of engineers and workers daily.
The Rasgulla Milestone
Production reaches new heights as the demand for our soft, spongy cheese balls spreads across the district.
Silver Jubilee
Celebrating 25 years of trust. The name Bidhan becomes synonymous with authentic, traditional Odia flavors.
Modernized Kitchens
Invested in high-capacity traditional ovens to maintain quality while meeting the needs of a growing loyal customer base.
Semiliguda Expansion
Recognizing the need for a family dining space, we opened our second outlet with full meal service in Semiliguda.
Highway Pitstop Status
Semiliguda evolves into a premier stop for travelers on the Vizag-Koraput highway looking for a hygienic home-style meal.
Adapting to Change
Introducing home delivery and digital ordering to ensure Koraput stays fed and happy during challenging times.
50 Years of Trust
Celebrating our Golden Jubilee. Half a century of serving stories, smiles, and the same authentic taste since day one.
Our
Vows.
The three simple rules we've followed every single day since the first shutter opened in 1974.
No Shortcuts
If a sweet takes 4 hours to prepare properly, we cook it for 4 hours. No artificial softeners, no rush.
Koraput First
Our heart beats for this district. From our staff to our sourcing, we are 100% local.
Honest Food
No fancy plating or dry ice. Just the same authentic, homestyle taste you remember from 20 years ago.
